Mathematical reasons:
1- Barcelona’s project is not ambitious and Messi is not convinced of the team’s future, and the team’s hopes of victory remained hanging on him for a while.
2- The timing and form of firing Ernesto Valverde, the former Barcelona coach, did not go well for Messi.
3- Messi’s problems with the management, since he did not agree with the club for many things he had done in recent months, such as the crisis of the management’s involvement in defame the team’s stars through the social networks, and the ERTE law related to the reorganization of the payment of wages in compulsive circumstances.
4- The collapse of the relationship between Messi and club leaders, such as Eric Abidal, the former sports director of Barcelona, who blamed some players for Valverde’s departure, which angered the Argentine star for showing it publicly through his account on “Instagram”.
