Prime Minister Dr Mustafa Madbouly chaired the Board of Governors meeting on Monday; Through a “videoconference”, in the presence of Major General Mahmoud Sharawi, Minister of Local Development, governors and security directors, and Major General Sherif Saleh, Director of the Department of Military Studies; This is to discuss a number of vital files and issues.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed that precautionary measures will continue to be applied to face the Coronavirus, because the number of infected cases has begun to increase again, which requires toughening the application of sanctions to offenders during this period, in coordination between the competent authorities.

Madbouly also emphasized the need to wear masks in public places and government departments, and means of mass transportation, especially those facilities that witness a large participation of the public, and at the same time, the Prime Minister reiterated the need to monitor the position of triage and isolation hospitals. Ensure the availability of medical supplies and medicines, and the regularity of work in these hospitals.

In another context, the Prime Minister said: “We have taken an important step in the reconciliation file in some construction infractions according to the law, and we are following this file on a daily basis,” indicating that there will be no extension of the reconciliation, and the deadline is in the law at the end of September 2020, and after these end. Period The law will be implemented and the immediate elimination of unresolved violations will begin.

Madbouly added: “We apply the reconciliation law on some building violations. To close this page completely, but no new building infringement, or any random construction will be allowed again ”, indicating that construction for construction on agricultural land is a joint responsibility, and not all of us should allow it; The erosion of Egyptian farmland due to illegal construction is a real disaster by all standards, and there will be deterrents to any attempt to build on farmland, and you are all responsible for the prompt detection of any infractions and their immediate removal. , so we will not allow this continuous bleeding in the agricultural land area.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the rapid establishment of units to monitor building violations in each governorate, in coordination with the Department of Military Studies, assigning a number of professional engineers and technicians to manage these units and to deal with quickly and decisively to any violation of buildings or encroachment of agricultural land that are monitored. , Emphasizing in the same context that any violation after the removal is referred to the Military Prosecutor’s Office, as has happened in recent days.

Major General Mahmoud Sharawi, Minister of Local Development, presented during the meeting a report on the implementation position of the 16th wave of demolitions, during the period of July 8 to August 30, 2020, explaining that 11,417 infractions of buildings, with a total area of ​​2951661 square meters, as well as the removal of 4003 cases of usurpation of land. Agricultural area, with a total area of ​​approximately 211011 acres.

For their part, the governors reviewed, during the meeting, the efforts to eliminate building infractions during the past period, as well as the reconciliation position on some building infractions in accordance with the law, as well as the efforts to address new infractions and eliminate them in their infancy.

The General Staff Harb Sherif Saleh, Director of the Department of Military Studies, presented a report on spatial variables at the Republic level from June 2018 to June 2020, indicating in this regard that the total variables for the governorates in this period amounted to 334897.

The Director of the Department of Military Studies explained that the spatial variables are extracted from satellite images for two different times of the place, where the spatial variables are studied and extracted, quarterly reports of these variables are prepared and sent to the government in the form of data. tabulars that contain the series of the variable and the coordinates of each variable, indicating that the same data is answered. The tabular that is sent by the governorates with the position of each variable regarding it is legal, illegal or temporary legal, with the detail of each mentioned variable, the spatial variables are studied and extracted and the coordinates are sent to the points of the variables at a monthly rate by activating the system of linking spatial variables between the variables center and government.
