Al-Nasr Saudi Club is seeking the services of German star Mesut Ozil, Arsenal’s playmaker, with the start of the new season.
The Turkish newspaper “Vanatik” revealed that there were attempts by the Al-Nasr Club to persuade Mesut Ozil to move to the Saudi League and leave the English Premier League.
The management of the Al-Nasr club made an offer of $ 20 million in annual salary to finalize the deal with the German player, especially since Ozil, according to English press reports, has been left out of the technical director’s accounts, by Arsenal Mikel Arteta.
Ozil does not enjoy Arteta’s trust and the management of his London club wants to ditch his huge salary.
The German star’s contract with Al Janners expires in the summer of next year, after he renewed his contract in 2018 and he has the right to negotiate directly with any club in January.
Al-Nasr managers assured Ozil that they agreed in principle on the possibility of his transfer to the club after a year if he wanted to complete the next season, at Arsenal, while they awaited his final answer, according to the Turkish newspaper.
Ozil did not participate with Arteta and Arsenal with the return of the Premier League after stopping by Corona, nor did he participate with the team in the Charity Shield match against Liverpool the day before yesterday, which was settled by the gunners on penalties.
Ozil has several offerings from Qatari and Chinese clubs, as well as clubs in Turkey, led by Basaksehir and Fenerbahce.
