Press reports revealed the disciplinary sanctions awaiting Argentine Lionel Messi, the Barcelona legend, if he rebelled against the Catalan club for failing to attend medical exams on Sunday or training sessions on Monday.

According to the Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, in the event that Messi is absent from the controls and training sessions on Sunday or Monday, the club may sanction the best player in the history of Barcelona for lack of discipline, and may reach a deduction of 25% of your salary.
The radio said that the sanction to which Messi may be exposed will be to prevent him from participating with a salary deduction of two to ten days.
He added that the penalties can go even further if Messi’s rebellion is prolonged in time, since the fine could reach a deduction of 25% of his salary if he is still absent from training without reaching an agreement with the Catalan club. .
He indicated the possibility of a radical end that could end with Messi’s final dismissal from the first team according to the club’s disciplinary regulations, but this matter is almost impossible for him to pass between the player and his club, according to Spanish radio.
Messi believes that his attendance at team training contradicts his position that he is a free player who has the right to transfer to any other team without financial compensation.
Messi sent a letter to Barcelona last Tuesday informing them of his desire to activate the club’s unilateral exit clause in a free signing.
Barcelona maintains that on June 10 the clause that allows Messi to leave without compensation expired, and that to leave him now he must pay the value of the penalty clause in his contract, which amounts to 700 million euros.
