FilGoal | News | Fyler Conference: Whoever wants to win always has to play the “playstation” … Saleh cannot be evaluated

Al-Ahly coach Rene Fyler believes that no team in the world can win every game without losing its level.

Al-Ahly defeated Al-Masry with two unanswered goals on Matchday 23 of the Egyptian League.

Fyler said after the game at the press conference: “The case of Al-Masry’s dismissal was fundamental in the game because it pushed them to defend more, and then we dominated the game, we scored two goals and we won.”

“It is not logical that the team always wins, and if the team wins every game, I will sit at home and let Al-Ahly win the games,” he added.

“We find ourselves with many difficulties, and no team always wins, and the fans must accept it, because performance will decline in several games, and that is normal,” he stressed.

“For all the fans who want Al-Ahly to always win and the team to deliver a distinguished level, they should always go play PlayStation and not watch football.”

Regarding his evaluation of Saleh Juma’s participation in the match, he said: “I cannot evaluate a player in less than 10 minutes only, but Saleh put in a lot of effort in the last period and he deserved to have a chance.”

“But as you have all noticed, he has not yet reached the required physical condition, and he has to try harder to become like the rest of the players on a physical level,” he said.

He added: “The same goes for the young player Arabi Badr.”

Speaking about Ajay’s level of decline, he said: “I agree with you that Ajay’s level is decreasing, unlike his level at the beginning of the season, and he has to make more efforts to regain his level.”

He concluded his comments: “Due to the long suspension period and the inability of the players to travel, Ajay misses his family very much and is going through a difficult period because of that, and we should not discuss these matters outside the team.”
