Books – Muhammad Hammam:

Walid Al-Attar, executive director of the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed that there is no intention to postpone the Al-Ahly and Al-Masry Al-Port Said match scheduled for Saturday night in the accounts of the 23rd week. of the Egyptian League competition.

“The new protocol, Rapid Test, was implemented by the Ministry of Health and not by the Football Association, we did not invent anything,” Al-Attar added in comments on the “Ontime Sports 1” screen on Friday night.

He continued: “Although the Ministry of Health notified us about the new protocol, we await the official letter to implement the decision.”

On the fact that there are positive samples infected with the Coronavirus within the Al-Ahly team, Al-Attar explained: “It is not true that there is any infection within the Al-Ahly team, and the evidence of my words is that all the players of Al-Ahly are on the field, and if an infected case occurs, the player will not be able to go down to the stadium. “

Al-Attar revealed: “Al-Masry Club Al-Port Said rejected the Quick Test procedure, and in the end, 20 team players did the tests and did not complete them until the end, and there was a tug of war between the players of Al-Masry and the doctors. “

The executive director of the Egyptian Football Association highlighted that five Al-Masry players are suffering from an infection with the emerging Corona virus (Covid 19), noting that there are no additional cases within the Port Said team.

Al-Attar noted that the Football Association will implement the decision it previously issued that no match will be postponed except in the case of ten cases of injuries, and given Al-Masry’s situation, the latter has no objection to playing the match.

Mohamed El-Khouli, vice president of the Al-Masry Club Al-Borseidi, revealed in a statement through “Masrawy” that the blood test showed that nine cases appeared within the ranks of his team.

It should be noted that Al-Masry Al-Borseidi suffered from Corona virus infections before the coastal team played matches again, to face Egypt clearing in a match that Al-Masry lost (2-0), then negative draw before Masr.
