Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of Local Development, announced the issuance of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, a set of directives to organize the decisions issued regarding the suspension of licenses for new buildings or ramps for residential buildings in governorates for a period of 6 months.
Sharawi said, in a statement, Monday, that the Prime Minister ordered the decisions to be specific to residential buildings belonging only to citizens, without industrial, tourist, government and national facilities.
The Minister of Local Development noted that those decisions will apply to regions in the Greater Cairo provinces (Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia), in addition to the Alexandria Governorate, with the completion of construction work for the buildings currently underway until the availability of high population density construction requirements, garages and residential neighborhoods is confirmed only in the rest of the provinces and according to To see the governor about this.
Shaarawi ordered that the required building permits for citizens of the rest of the cities, towns, singles and villages be issued continuously at the governorate level without stopping.
