Al-Ahly’s board of directors decided, at a meeting held via remote internet video technology, led by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, not to harm the salaries of the club’s players, technical devices and doctors and workers.
The council discussed in its meeting the proposals requested by Mahmoud Al-Khatib a few days ago to face the financial crisis suffered by all institutions due to the cessation of sports activity in Egypt as part of the precautionary measures to counter the emerging virus of the Crown “Covid 19”.
During the session, the monthly financial amounts requested from the Al-Ahly Club were discussed, which include the salaries of the club’s employees, in addition to the players, technical, administrative and medical devices.
Despite halting sports activity and currently lacking financial resources, the Al-Ahly Club board of directors decided not to prejudice the usual monthly salaries of players, coaches, doctors and workers, to help everyone fulfill their obligations of life.
Al-Ahly decided to continue without damaging the salaries of the players and technical, administrative and medical devices in all sectors and sports for a period of four months, from this April until next July.
Al-Ahly’s board of directors decided to hold another meeting to reevaluate the financial position after the end of the four-month period to make other decisions related to the next stage.
