Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 55 of those infected with the Corona virus were discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, all Egyptians, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines. from the World Health Organization, bringing the total number of people recovering from the virus to 701 cases to date.
A statement from the Ministry clarified that the number of cases whose laboratory results were converted from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 980 cases, including the 701 recovered.
He added that 188 new cases that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus were registered, all Egyptians, as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to the death of 19 cases.
He said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation hospitals are subject to medical care, according to WHO guidelines.
He stated that the total number registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Saturday, is 3,032 cases, of which 701 cases were cured and discharged from isolation hospitals, and 224 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all provinces, follows the situation first hand with respect to the “emerging crown” virus and takes all necessary precautions against any virus or infectious disease, as the “105” hotline and “15335” have been assigned to receive citizen inquiries about an emerging and infectious disease Corona virus.
