Books – Mohamed Abdel Nasser:
Today, Monday, most provinces and cities are experiencing a continuous rise in temperature above normal levels, with values ranging from one to two degrees, said Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department of the Meteorological Authority.
Shaheen added to Masrawy that as of tomorrow Tuesday, temperatures will drop from the average reached last Saturday and Sunday, to vary from Cairo to 26 to 27 instead of 32 degrees, and will be recorded on the northern coasts 23 degrees, at northern Upper Egypt 32 and southern Upper Egypt 36.
He continued: “The temperature drop will be temporary for only 48 hours,” noting that starting next Thursday, temperatures will gradually rise again.
He noted that, along with the decrease in temperatures, there will be activity in the movement of the wind in most of the provinces, which increases the feeling of hypothermia, and the movement of the winds that accompany the sand and dust on some roads that they lead to the southern provinces of Upper and South Sinai, along with the interruption of maritime navigation to the Mediterranean and Red Bahrain. However, it may slightly affect marine activities.
He noted that light rains are expected on the northern coasts and areas of Lower Egypt, which can spread to regions and parts of Cairo, tomorrow, Tuesday, for a single day.
