The Ministry of Health and Population announced, this Monday, that 389 people in recovery from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which the total of those who recover from the virus to 135,349 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, said that 613 new cases were registered that tested positive in laboratory tests for the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and Los examination procedures carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, point to the death of 56 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Monday is 174,426 cases, including 135,349 cases that have been cured and 10,050 deaths.
