On Thursday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 299 people in recovery from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, with which the total of those who recover from the virus. to 131,211 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 532 new cases were registered that were positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and procedures. examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to the death of 52 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid claimed that the total number that was recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Thursday is 168,057 cases, including 131,211 cases that have been cured and 9,512 deaths.
