On Monday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 504 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, raising the total of those who recover from the virus. to 127001 cases to date.
The Ministry indicated that 669 new cases have been registered that have positive laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures carried out by the Ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, noting the death of 53 new cases.
The ministry said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
The ministry said that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Monday is 162,486 cases, including 127,001 cured cases and 9012 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows the situation of the “emerging corona” virus first-hand and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a series of media to receive inquiries from citizens about the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases, including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”.
