On Friday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 432 recoveries of the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, with which the total of those who recover from the virus. to 125,603 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, stated that 748 new cases were registered that were positive in laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and procedures. examination carried out by the ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which point to the death of 52 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid said that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Friday is 160,463 cases, including 125,603 cases that have been cured and 8,853 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows first-hand the situation of the “emerging corona” virus and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the Ministry has also assigned a series of media to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases, including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health “available on phones.
