The Ministry of Health and Population announced, this Wednesday, that 389 people in recovery from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which the total of those who recover from the virus to 139,072 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Undersecretary of Health and Population for Media, Awareness and Community Communication, and official spokesman for the ministry, said that 644 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance. , investigation and control procedures that the ministry carries out in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 52 new diseases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Wednesday is 18,051 cases, including 139,072 cured cases and 10,495 deaths.
