The Ministry of Health and Population announced, this Monday, that 455 recoveries of the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, which increases the total of those who recover from the disease. virus to 141,347 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Undersecretary of Health and Population for Media, Awareness and Community Communication, and official spokesman for the ministry, said that 586 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the surveillance necessary. , investigation and examination procedures that the ministry carries out in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 48 new diseases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Monday is 183,010 cases, including 141,347 cases that have been cured and 10,736 deaths.
