Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Undersecretary of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, and official spokesman for the ministry, said that 645 new cases were registered that were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of surveillance and investigation procedures. necessary. and tests carried out by the ministry in accordance with World Health Organization guidelines, which point to the death of 47 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Wednesday is 192,840, including 148,424 cured cases and 11,431 deaths.
