Dr. Ibrahim El-Zayat, a member of the General Union of Physicians in Egypt, announced that 35 members of the Egyptian medical staff had been infected with the Corona virus.
He said the results of the analyzes confirmed that 35 members of the Al-Zahra University Hospital medical staff were infected with the Corona virus, explaining that 50 surveys had been conducted for doctors working at the Al-Azhar University affiliated hospital, and the results showed 35 positives.

He explained that among the wounded are leaders of the Al-Azhar University School of Medicine and the hospital, and the dean of the Al-Azhar Girls School of Medicine, the Director of Therapeutic Affairs and the Director of Clinics, in addition to 17 doctors and doctors, and noted that they were detained in isolation at the Al-Azhar Specialized Hospital.

On Saturday, the Ministry of Health announced 488 new cases of coronavirus and 11 deaths.
He stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the Corona virus, as of Saturday, was 8,964 cases, including the 2002 cases that had been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 514 deaths.
