The Ministry of Health and Population announced today, Monday, that 70 of those infected with the Corona virus have been discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, all Egyptians, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines. from the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those who recovered from the virus to 1,632 cases to date.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesperson for the Ministry, said that the number of cases whose laboratory results turned from positive to negative for the Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 2,139 cases, including 1,632 recuperators.
He added that 348 new cases were positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 7 new cases.
Mujahid said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to guidelines from the World Health Organization.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Monday is 6,813 cases, including 1,632 cases that were cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 436 deaths.
