The Housing Minister explained that this proposal falls within the framework of the ministry’s plan to provide the largest number of lands with all the comforts, in several new cities, to achieve the desire of Egyptians from various segments of society to own land. and to combat the land trade through the abundance of land offered.

Engineer Muhammad Anwar Hilal, vice president of the New Urban Communities Authority for Commercial and Real Estate Affairs, indicated that the terms of reference will be available at the agencies of the cities for which the land is proposed, as of Sunday 9/13 / 2020, and the booking begins at the following branches of the Housing and Development Bank (Tenth of Ramadan – Sohag – Damietta – New Damietta – Damietta Supervisor – Bank branches in Borg El Arab – Dekheila – Bank branches in Aswan – New Akhmim – Luxor – Qena – Fayoum – Sadat – Assiut) from Tuesday 9/15/2020 Thursday, 10/15/2020, from four to six in the afternoon.

He added: The conditions that the beneficiary must meet are the following: That a natural person is an Egyptian citizen, and not a legal person (company or institution), and that they are not less than 21 years old on the date of the reservation, and the family does not have the right (husband, wife and minor children) to request the reservation of more than one piece of land in the announced cities, and that it has not been assigned to him or one of his relatives (husband, wife and minor children) in any of new cities, and that he or his social housing project has not previously been assigned a housing unit. For a member of your family (husband, wife and minor children), whether the land or unit is in their possession or transferred to others, and the applicant must be a child or work or reside in the governorate in which they are find the city in which the seizure is located, according to the schedule attached to the condition book, It is also allowed that one or more people and a maximum of 4 people participate in obtaining a piece according to the conditions mentioned in the brochure.

Regarding the proposed land allocation method, Eng. Muhammad Anwar Hilal explained that a public lottery will be held, and subsequently the place and date of the lottery will be announced for each city, in the presence of officials from the city authority, the competent authorities, the supervisory authorities, the Housing and Development Bank and whoever wishes from among the citizens who request the reservation. The reserve provider will be reimbursed to applicants who were not selected after announcing the results of the public lottery, in addition to the benefits determined through the Housing and Development Bank.

Regarding the payment system, he indicated that the reservation is paid in the amount of 25 thousand pounds, and the payment is made in cash or through a bank transfer system (SWIFT or ACH) an internal transfer from the HDB, or by certified check (bank / payment accepted), and the payment is completed. Introduction (25% + 1% administrative expenses + 0.5% patronage), of the total price of the land within a period not exceeding one month from the date of the public draw, and the remaining 75% of the total price of the land is paid without interest, in 3 installments Equality annually, so that the first installment expires one year after the date of the public lottery, and bank checks are issued for the value of the installments payable to the city agency, provided that construction times are complied with in accordance with the terms specified in the terms of reference, and specific architectural models are available from city agencies to adhere to.
