The official website of the Presidency of the Republic has published the schedule of official holidays in the new year 2021.
The holidays begin on January 7 to celebrate Christmas, then January 25 to commemorate the revolution and Police Day, then April 25 to celebrate Sinai Liberation Day.
According to the calendar, May 1 will be a Labor Day holiday and then March 3 to celebrate Sham El-Nessim.
As for Eid al-Fitr, the holiday is scheduled to be 3 days from Thursday to Saturday, followed by June 30 to celebrate the anniversary of the June 30, 2013 revolution.
In addition to the Eid Al-Adha break and 3 days to celebrate Eid.
July 23 is scheduled to be a holiday to celebrate the 1952 July Revolution Day, followed by the Hijri New Year holiday, then the Armed Forces Day corresponding to October 6 of each year, and finally the 18 of October to celebrate the birth of the Prophet.
On June 28, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly decided to move any official leave, which takes place in the middle of the week, to Thursday, for a holiday related to the weekend.
However, the government also decided to exclude 3 occasions from the decision, which are the days of the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays, and Christmas.
