Books – Youssef Afifi:
A source from the Ministry of Manpower revealed that about 10 more categories were excluded from the disbursement of the presidential subsidy for irregular workers, which the state decided to pay 500 pounds per month until the end of this year, as a result of being affected by the new epidemic of the crown.
The source explained to “Masrawy” that the new categories that are excluded during the data audit are (the insured – those with a Takaful and Dignity pension – who owns two cars – who is a partner in a company – and who studies their children in international schools – and they do not update their data of New – and non-Egyptian – and merchants with a commercial registration – who are not registered with the Ministry of Manpower – and who reside outside Egypt).
The first groups to be deprived of the grant include (farm and property owners, pension recipients, deceased, children, and insurance grant recipients).
The selection of the names eligible for the grant depends on the choice of the groups that have already been affected by the Crown epidemic as a result of their work in irregular sectors and their lack of an insurance system, taking all measures of Caution when disbursing the subsidy to irregular workers and avoiding overcrowding and congestion, in order to ensure their safety and not cause any harm to citizens. , As part of the precautionary measures taken by the state to face the Corona virus.
The number of citizens who registered and updated their data in 6 days reached about 6 million and 22 thousand workers from the update and registration through the websites of the Ministry of Manpower and Cabinet, after the government closed the door to the data log last Thursday at exactly twelve in the afternoon.
For six days, from October 10 to 15, the government opened the door to the registration of data on the irregular employment allowance, through the link to the Cabinet website and the Ministry of Labor website, estimated at 500 pounds.
It is worth noting that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi ordered the government to continue granting the subsidy to irregular workers until the end of this year, during the opening of the largest refinery in Egypt and Africa, in the Mostorod region in the governorate of Qalyubia.
