Eddie Hall has shown off his workout routine as he prepares to face Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson in a boxing match.
Hall is losing weight in preparation for combat, recently losing 8 kg by performing 100 sit-ups a day for 30 days.
The World’s Strongest Man of 2017 has now dropped to 162.5kg, thanks to a strict regimen designed to help him when he takes on Thor.
The two will settle their fierce rivalry in Las Vegas next year.
Hall is certainly setting the job. He cut 33kg in three years and appears to be very focused on getting in shape.
In a video posted to YouTube on Friday, The Beast showed footage of their workout, which was a 32-minute HITT session.
HITT stands for High Intensity Interval Training, and Hall was aiming to keep his heart rate high.
There were eight exercises in total, including kettlebell swings, burpees, and hitting a boxing bag with a bat.
Hall was drenched in sweat at the end of training. Does anyone want to try it?
It is clear how serious Hall is taking this.
And for anyone skeptical about the scale of his rivalry with The Mountain, just read what he recently told The Mac Life about his opponent.
“Hafthor and I have been great competitors for a long time,” said Hall.
“We have a hellish history competing against each other.
“We absolutely despise ourselves without believing it. If he were on fire, I wouldn’t screw him up.”
“Hate is 100 percent real. If I saw Thor face to face, it would be very difficult for me not to hit him in the face. “
This really is two guys who hate each other in the ring.
Bjornsson himself is working. The Icelandic native, who starred in the hit series ‘Game of Thrones,’ recently shared footage of him working on the pads.

It seemed slow enough, but no one expected Thor to base his game on speed and agility.
He is tall and powerful, and will seek to use those attributes when facing Hall.
GIVEMESPORT’s Scott Wilson says …
Fair play, Eddie.
He’s drastically reviewing his figure to be ready to fight Thor next year and it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on his Instagram account to follow his progress.
The work he is currently doing in the gym is different from his workouts during his strong man days, but he is working on this.
Weight loss, improved diet, work ethic … for Hall, this is huge.
What he would give to defeat his main strong rival in the ring.
Both ‘fighters’ deserve a lot of credit for the work they are doing and we cannot wait to see the fight.
