Free agent center Dwight Howard announced on Twitter on Friday that he was returning to the Los Angeles Lakers, but the tweet was deleted, according to Athletic’s David Eldridge.

Now Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic reports that the big man is still considering his options.

Howard for. points points, .3. reb rebounds and averages 1.1 blocks per game NBA Champion Lakers last season.

Some contract parameters for Howard were recorded after the move was announced by the Center by Bobby Marks of ESPN.

We’ll find out soon whether Howard runs it back with Lakers or elsewhere hints, but Howard should remain an asset to LA even if he hints again despite the limitations in today’s NBA.

Howard is forced to hit the bench when teams play small, especially when the Lakers played the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semifinals. Howard was also seen playing less while running with hit floor-stretching big like Kelly playing Linick.

It is an obvious asset when it comes to dealing with more traditional bigwig teams. Howard put up a remarkable performance against the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round, posting 9.5 points and 7.3 boards in the Lakers’ four wins.

Howard, 35, will enter his 17th NBA season on December 8. He has made eight All-Star teams, eight L-NBA teams and five All-Defensive teams during his career.
