Earlier this month, Hasbro launched its Little Pony Crossover collection, which combines My Little Pony characters with other popular fandoms. The Collection began with the Ghostbusters Plasmane figure, and is followed by a Dungeons & Dragons Cutie Marks & Dragons set that includes five figures.
The 4 1/2 inch scale figures are inspired by an iconic class of D&D characters: Rogue, Barbarian, Druid, Bard, and Wizard. The set also comes with an exclusive D20 die and a pony-themed illustrated Dungeon Master display (pictured below). Pre-orders for the Dungeons & Dragons x My Little Pony Cutie Marks & Dragons Figure Set are live here at Entertainment Earth for $ 59.99 with shipping scheduled for September.
As we noted in May when this set was leaked, “This is not the first time we’ve seen a Dungeons & Dragons / My Little Pony crossover. The two brands had an official crossover in 2016 for Friendship Day with a special t-shirt. representing the cast of the cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as D&D characters. In 2017, the two brands came together for a special pair of dice. Ninja Division also released an official role-playing game for My Little Pony in 2017 that it really got a lot of praise from RPG fans. “
In other Dungeons & Dragons news, a Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast board game was also announced today that helps new players bridge the gap between board games and D&D’s complex RPG world. Players choose their characters and travel through the Neverwinter lands, where they will encounter a boss monster who is terrorizing the kingdom. Adventure Begins players will also experience what it’s like to be a Dungeon Master, with the role going from player to player each turn (2-4 players). If you want to give it a try, pre-orders are available live here at Entertainment Earth for $ 24.99.
Finally, the first critical role Funko Pop will be released tonight! You can find all the details here.
