Dr. Tiffany Osborne joins family after living last year in an RV to keep the Covid-19

S.T. LOUIS – Last March, a BJC doctor decided to keep herself away from her family on the front lines so she wouldn’t bring COVID-19 home.

“I had the same concerns of every health care provider that was one, will I infect myself? But, the important thing is, will I infect my family?” Said Tiffany Osbo.

BJC doctor Tiffany Osobon has taken extreme measures to protect her family from coronavirus, she has bought a camper to keep herself apart.

Osoborn is an ER and ICU therapist who has lived inside his RV since last year. She said the decision was made by her and her family to prevent the disease inside their home.

Osobon said he would work directly for three weeks with no day off so she could be isolated for a few days, get tested and see her family before returning to the hospital for a few days.

Now, after a whole year, he is finally fully reunited with his family. “The transition took a while, but once I got back in, it was weird,” Osobon said. “I mean, it was great to have the opportunity to experience being together again on a regular basis.”

Osborne said living with his family again would not have been possible without the COVID-19 vaccine. “The only way for us to get back to normal is to get those shots,” she said.
