The situation until recently regarding Twitch transmitter Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm had been one of life’s biggest mysteries.
Dr. Disrespect was reportedly kicked out of Twitch. There were no Twitch reasons and Dr. Disrespect had not made a statement.
The ban was quite surprising given that Rod Breslau had recently reported that Dr. Disrespect had re-signed with Twitch in an “exclusive streaming deal for several years.”

The mystery surrounding the ban reported by Dr. Disrespect deepened when a new teaser titled “Alleyways” appeared on Doc’s YouTube channel.
The trailer features a doctorate silhouette standing in an alley, presumably contemplating his next move.
The song is by independent artist J + 1, and channels the 80s-style synth sound often found on shows like Miami Vice.
Truth be told, the song is instantly catchy. I’ve heard it myself probably 10 times.
As expected, the trailer caused a lot of buzz, and has over 1.7 million views.
As people speculated about what this meant, Beahm did not take long to speak. He discussed the recent Twitch ban in an interview with PC Gamer.
When asked what happened in the past three weeks, Beahm said it has been difficult and indicated that he and his team are working to return.
Beahm stated, “You know, while it’s unfortunate that he’s off Twitch, we’re definitely working behind the scenes on what a Dr. comeback might look like.” In terms of the details around that, we are not interested in exclusives at this time. “
He added: “We are exploring our options and honestly I just can’t wait to get back to the character soon. We have a lot to do, and I’ll be where the fans want it to be. And, you know, that’s been our focus.”
Later he would explain: “Well, let’s say that all the cards are on the table. I’m more focused on making sure we do what we do next, whether it’s a platform move or not, which is the right decision for the community and the Champions Club that follows me. ”
Beahm continued: “And that makes sense for what I want to continue to achieve with this character in terms of taking things to the next level, and whether it’s transmission or not transmission. So it’s just being aware of that decision. “
PC Gamer indicated that in a follow-up email, Doc told them that he is considering streaming to his Champions Club website, YouTube, Facebook games, or a combination of all three.
Doc also revealed how he found out about the ban and what his reaction was.
He explained, “Well, to be honest, it’s fine, so we got the news, you know, it was just … it was completely … it was a total shock. Imagine going to work one day and the door is closed and you can’t come in and they told him he was fired, and he wasn’t given a reason why, you know, and so for me it was just an initial shock. “
“The way I found out, too, was in a friend’s broadcast, and some of the features started to go off while I was chatting and everything, and suddenly social media exploded. I got the call with my team, and after a quick email, it was over. ” Beahm elaborated.
Then he stated, “At that particular moment, he was rather a bit shocked, like, what happened, you know? And both my wife and I are like, what’s going on?
“So this is how, initially, how things went. And then from there, you’re just digesting it. You still don’t get any answer. So that’s the reason I had … I wouldn’t have known what to say, you know? We launched a tweet, our statement, and that’s where things are, “he added.
Beahm would also confirm that there has been no communication from Twitch yet.
He had previously stated in June that Twitch had not given him a specific reason for his decision to ban it.
It would also indicate that he will not be returning to Twitch. ” Obviously, to get legal advice, I have to be careful here. However, I can say that I won’t be returning to Twitch, so I mean, that’s it. “
Beahm also hinted that his team could take legal action when asked why he hasn’t been more open on social media.
He explained, “Uh, well, I mean, I’m trying to take the best and appropriate steps possible, and there are things behind the scenes in terms from a legal point of view that, you know, I can’t … that’s where it’s at . “

Then he stated firmly: “We are considering taking legal action.”
He also indicated that there may be some changes to the character and viewer experience, taking Doc to a new level.
Regarding the final moments of its broadcast, Beahm stated: “Again, I’ve seen all kinds of theories and speculations out there. And it’s heartbreaking and daunting, but, in terms of that particular piece, could you speak directly, like, that was just … I was at a time when I was just taking in what’s going on in the world, you know?
He continued, “If people had the context of that clip going in, and then coming out of it, like, all he was talking about was the state of the world that we’re dealing with, dealing with the protests and the coronavirus and everything what was happening.
“It’s like, man … And at that particular moment, I think I was going through one, you know, when can we break this 2020 chaos? It was just me being real on the broadcast. That’s more or less the context of that, “Beahm concluded.
It seems we are now ready for a great comeback from Dr. Disrespect. The question now is, where and when?
