News on Dontnode Entertainment’s psychologically thrilling Twin Mirror has been a bit sporadic in recent months, but now the developer has finally announced the launch date for the game. Twin Mirror arrives on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on December 1st.
The Twin Mirror follows the story of former investigative journalist Sam Higgs, who returns to his childhood hometown of Baswood, West Virginia for a funeral. The momentary visit that was to be made soon becomes a long journey. Sam is shrouded in mystery and must use his investigative skills to find out what happened. The trailer doesn’t give very far, but it doesn’t annoy Mind Palace, a place that exists in Sam’s mind where he can recreate and recreate memories of major events to make them happen.

If you’re not a fan of episodic games, then you’re in luck. Life is Strange and Tell Me Why, in contrast, the Twin Mirror will be available as a complete experience from day one. Back in June, Dontnode said the game has been redesigned to allow players to enjoy without this psychological thrill.
