Donald Trump Jr has returned to Twitter after being temporarily kicked off the platform to complain about the new release of the Barbie doll, suggesting that the doll is a Democrat and an election cheat.

Trump Jr had his Twitter account temporarily suspended on Tuesday for posting “misleading and potentially harmful information” about the coronavirus.

Throughout the suspension, the businessman was prevented from tweeting or using other features, such as following other users or liking his posts, according to a screenshot shared by his ally and Republican strategist Andrew Surabian.

However, Trump Jr returned to Twitter on Wednesday, using his reset platform to criticize the launch of the new Barbie doll.

“‘Voter’ Barbie must be a Democrat because she already has a ‘I Voted’ sticker and yet she has another ballot in hand,” she wrote of the boy’s toy.

President Donald Trump and Republicans have frequently voiced fears of voter fraud ahead of the November election, particularly with regard to voting by mail, a method that Democratic representatives have pushed to ensure that it is widely available amid of the coronavirus pandemic.

The President previously suggested: “I would never again elect a Republican in this country” if measures to facilitate voting in the United States, including widespread voting by mail, were endorsed.

Last month, he retweeted an article about Attorney General William Barr’s comments that expanding mail voting “absolutely opens the floodgates to fraud.”

Documented cases of mail ballot fraud are extremely rare and experts have said that successful mail fraud by foreign actors in submitting fake ballots would be next to impossible, Reuters reported.

Trump’s own advisory commission on electoral integrity spent eight months, from May 2017 to January 2018, investigating electoral fraud claims and did not submit a single confirmed instance.

The president’s eldest son returned to the site to reprimand the wrist after he was temporarily suspended for sharing a video of a Houston doctor promoting hydroxychloroquine as a cure for the new coronavirus.

“The Tweet violates our Covid-19 disinformation policy,” said a platform spokesperson. “The account will be locked until the account owner deletes the Tweet.”

The recently launched Barbie 2020 campaign team ensemble features four dolls who have roles within the campaign and electoral process, including a campaign manager, fundraiser, and black voter and presidential candidate.

The toy company Mattel said the ensemble aims to “expose girls to public leadership roles and spark their interest in shaping the future.”
