Does Mars draw pictures for us? – BGR

  • Windy winds have an interesting shape at the Mt. South Pole, including angels and giant red hearts.
  • Images of the shapes have been displayed by the European Space Agency,
  • The South Pole of Mars is actually quite wet, with liquid water lying beneath the icy crust, so understanding the forces operating in the field can unlock some of the planet’s mysteries.

Here is the holiday season in many countries on earth, and if you lean towards the religious meaning of different dates on the calendar you are familiar with seeing the angels associated with these events. Based on new images released by the European Space Agency, it looks like Tuesday decided to play with this year, with various forces forming near the planet’s south pole, appearing entirely like angels and dark red hearts.

Researchers are studying interesting shapes not because they look like they could see you on a holiday mural on Earth, but because of the funny events that made them possible. Of course, if you’re in a holiday mood, you can only imagine that Mars is ready for us.

So why exactly did the shapes happen? Well, it’s really kind of complicated. The large “halo” around the angel’s head is actually the impact pit that made the head and spread the cascade of material around the area. Meanwhile, ice in some other lower regions is the result of turning to gas, which creates frustration.

ESA explains:

Both the ‘angel’ and the ‘heart’ are made up of various interesting features. First, the angel’s hand, as it is supposed to reach the left, is a large emergence pit, a kind of feature that turns to air as ice and leaves empty pockets and frustrations on the surface of the planets (a process that often Happens) as you change.). Sublimation pits have been found on other planets in the solar system, such as Pluto, and can be seen scattered throughout the area on the right.

Scientists once assumed that despite being a dry, dusty wasteland, Mars is proving dynamic weather in many of its regions with water ice and brackish water near its poles. If Mars once had a good wealth of water, that principle, nicely, water, then it is possible that life has existed there for a long time. Unfortunately, it is also possible that Mars was a rocky, watery world that never got all the elements needed to form for life.

Future missions, including NASA’s Perseverance rover currently heading to Mars, will shed light on the history (or lack thereof) of life on Mars, but for the moment we know there are hearts and angels.
