Doctor Jeffries wants Democrats to take a deep breath

Mr. Jeffries ‘own theory in this case is that the Democrats’ “for the people” message is true. Traditionally the best way to win over Democratic voters by Mr. Trump to peel off millions and divide his party into his own ranks, he argued, is to constantly focus on kitchen-table issues such as health care costs, prescription drug prices. Defeating Covid-19, creating jobs and eliminating racial inequality.

“Presidential intimidators are not likely to be absent, who may have mastered the art of grievance politics in the same grip that Donald Nald Trump demonstrated on a significant part of the country,” he said. “So as we move forward, Democrats have a real chance to win back some working-class voters by making it clear that our implemented ideas will improve their quality of life by fixing broken American agreements.”

He called for “crushing the virus” and sending “direct relief” to American workers and business owners to those still involved in the economy plagued by the epidemic.

“It should be our priority, and it will be on the 1st,” he said.

Facing the prospect of a Republican Senate, it won’t be easy. Mr. Jeffries said Democrats believe there will be opportunities in the Senate to partner with Mr. Biden and Republicans to pass legislation related to prescription drug prices, infrastructure costs, and changes to sentencing and prison law.

Party leaders have promised to give a “deep dive” in Tuesday’s results to understand how they could lose five seats and the vote count and failed in almost every opportunity they were considering.

Mr Jeffries said he was almost concerned about why the referendum, which guided the campaign at almost every level, failed to reach the limits of supporting not only Mr Trump, but other Republicans on the ballot.

“One of the things we should pay attention to is whether the vote is broken, or whether the vote is broken only when Donald Trump is on the ballot,” Mr Jeffries said public opinion polls predicted more accurately. Moderate results for 2018. “Because if it’s the latter, not a lot of adjustments have been made going forward because Trump won’t be available electronically anywhere in 2022.”
