As Disneyland Park does not yet have a timeline announced to the public about the reopening, they are still working hard to implement health and safety measures as they wait for more guidelines from state officials before the reopening. of theme parks in California. During a visit to Disney Downtown, it can be seen that they are installing physical distance measures at the entrance to Disneyland Park. It was previously shown that this happened at Disney California Adventure, and now similar measures are starting at Disneyland.

Cast members were spotted working at the turnstiles today, and it appears they were installing plexiglass at the entrance to Disneyland Park. Social distancing markers can be seen outside the entrance so that guests do not follow from one party to another while waiting their turn.

The turnstiles are not 6ft apart, so these measures help protect both Cast members and guests as they pass through the entrance, as the Cast member and guests are in close proximity to each other. Some other spots you might expect plexiglass in the parks are the queues of Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and arriving on the ride cars at “It’s a Small World” and Space Mountain.

Many cast members are still waiting for their return to work, but construction workers are back on some of their projects. There’s stalking around the town hall building, it looks like it’s getting some maintenance and / or refurbishment. When Disneyland Park began its longer closure in March, some attractions were already on schedule to close for renovations. Those attractions included King Arthur’s Carousel, Snow White’s Scary Adventure and Haunted Mansion.

What will Disneyland look like when it reopens?

While we are all waiting for the news of the date of Disneyland’s reopening date, there are questions as to whether some of these renovation projects will be ready when it does again. Along with that, there is speculation about what it will look like, including for annual passengers, and one annual patient even started a petition for an annual alternative to passport extension. As the time that Disneyland Park closes continues to increase, ideas have also emerged about what new measures should be implemented permanently.
