Now that the theme parks have begun to reopen, Walt Disney World has detailed some additional extension benefits and reimbursement options available to annual pass holders.
We know that many Pass Bearers are eager to return to magic, and we are also eager to see our Pass Bearers. We also recognize that park reservations will change the way many of our pass holders use their pass. With that in mind, we are offering these alternative options for managing your pass.
Pass holders who have paid for their Annual Pass in full have two options:
- Receive an additional 30-day extension on your pass (in addition to the added time for theme park closings). This is the default option and the extension will be processed automatically in the coming weeks.
- Instead, pass holders can choose to cancel their pass. A refund will be processed for the remaining days from July 11 to the expiration of the pass, however the pass will remain valid until August 11.
Pass holders on the monthly payment plan also have two options:
- Receive a 30-day extension on your pass. This is the default option and the extension will be processed automatically in the coming weeks.
- Instead, pass holders can choose to cancel their pass. Monthly payments will stop after August 12, but any payments made between July 11 and August 12 will be refunded. Passes will remain valid until August 11.
The above is only available to pass holders who have not yet canceled their pass and are only available until August 11 by calling VIPASSHOLDER support at 407-939-7277. Expect refunds to the original form of payment to be made in mid to late September. Refunds to another form of payment will take longer.
