If you are a holder of an annual Walt Disney World pass on the monthly payment plan, keep this in mind.
It appears that the company has just spent several months of payments for Disney World annual pass holders who are on the monthly payment plan. Several users have turned to Twitter to share their frustrations.

Did @Disney really charge me 4 months of the annual pass once when their parks are still closed! This is BS. Never get an annual pass again.

Obviously, this was a computer problem and refunds will be processed. Usually I pay $ 103 / mo for 3 passes and get fined $ 413 … I’m like “umm, did I just book a hotel room ?!”

It appears that this was a computer glitch, according to Twitter user @mikeletcher, and Disney should be processing refunds that have been charged multiple times.
@ AshleyLCarter1 also reported that the payment system has apparently undergone an update and Disney is aware of the problem.

Since then, Disney has admitted this was a mistake, and they are working to correct it: “Pass holders in the monthly payment program were incorrectly charged today. We are in the process of reversing these charges and apologizing for the inconvenience this caused. ” Read more here.

Disney World is preparing for the gradual reopening of its theme parks: Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open on July 11, while EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios plan to open on July 15. The Resorts on the property will also open in phases with each resort having a different reopening date.

Remember that when Disney World reopens to guests next month, things at the theme park will look very different. Social distancing measures, excessive cleaning, promotion of mobile orders, Plexiglas will be implemented and, as we mentioned previously, the elimination of the character is found and greets. Parades and fireworks along with other similar entertainments that draw a crowd, and much more, are also removed from the parks.
