Disney is defending the host of the new “Star Wars” web series amid reactions to tweets that are considered racist to white people.

Christina Ariel announced this month that she would be hosting “The High Republic Show”, a web series offering news and insights into the latest multimedia subs of the extraordinarily popular science fiction franchise.

However, after announcing Ariel as the host of a new bi-monthly show, some came back through his previous tweets and found some who spoke in harsh words about the role of white people in ending racism.

Hours later, Ariel made some viral and racist reactions on Twitter to share that she was coming to light of old tweets.
