If you’re not familiar with the game, Disgaea 4 Complete + is a turn-based strategy role-playing game about vampires set in a place known as Netherworld. It features over 30 unlockable characters and new story content. This latest edition includes a ton of new and future features that were detailed on the NIS America blog:
Pirates: Users can combine parts of the ship and organize characters to create an original pirate ship and crew, then upload their pirates to fight other players. In addition, charged pirates can also appear in the Item World to attack or support the player who finds them!
Foreign and Defense Ministers: Users can designate a “Foreign Minister” to appear in other players’ Dark Assemblies to influence the voting process, and summon another user’s “Minister of Defense” to assist them in battle.
Nether Battle Tournament: Users can upload their characters to four classes and challenge unique stages online by creating a battle party with other players’ characters.
Records of everyone in the Underworld: Players can upload their data to contribute to 12 stat categories that compile everyone’s total progress.
Pirate test: Users can participate in tests with their pirates and upload their results for the ranking and receive rewards the following week according to their ranking.
Ranking battle: Users can participate in a thematic battle (themes are rotated weekly) and upload their scores to the leaderboards. Ranking points (RP) will be awarded according to the user’s ranking, which can be exchanged for items in the ranking store.
Disgaea 4 Complete + is now available on Nintendo Switch and PS4. Although NIS America hasn’t mentioned anything about the Xbox Game Pass achievements for the PC version, the game supports PlayStation trophies.
