DISORDER – UPDATE ONE: Down Detector comes back online after the standalone outage monitor was hard to reach at the start of today’s Discord outage.
And downdetector.com statistics have revealed the extent of Discord’s outage, with the site peaking at nearly 60,000 discord reports.
Of those affected, 91 percent had server connection problems with Discord.
While the Down Detector outage map said the Discord outage affected users in the UK, the United States and Europe.
Downdetector.com also recorded reports that Cloudflare, Valorant, and League of Legends fell today.
Elsewhere, Cloudflare Help’s Twitter account has confirmed that the company’s web infrastructure services are experiencing problems today.
The @CloudflareHelp Twitter posted: “We are aware that some regions may be experiencing problems with some Cloudflare services.
“We are currently investigating.”
ORIGINAL: Reports of discord are flooding right now, with the popular service experiencing major connection issues today.
Discord’s official Twitter account has confirmed that there are major connection issues tonight, while Twitter is also awash with reports of service issues.
However, the independent Down Detector interrupt detector is unresponsive, which could be the result of a large number of Discord users coming to the site.
Discord’s official Twitter posted: “Users are currently having trouble disconnecting from Discord due to an internet problem. We have all engineers on deck investigating the problem.”
The reported issues with Discord occur when web infrastructure company Cloudflare also had issues today.
Cloudflare’s official support Twitter has yet to comment on reported service issues today.
However, other verified accounts, such as Dauntless’s Twitter profile, have revealed that Cloudflare is experiencing technical issues.
@PlayDauntless’s Twitter posted: “Cloudflare currently has technical issues.
“This is causing server communication errors with Dauntless, Discord and many other web services. Wait, Slayers!”
As Discord and Cloudflare’s reported issues plagued users, they turned to Twitter to post about the issues they were facing.
One tweeted: “I’m going to reset my router thinking it’s my internet that caused discord to disconnect me from the call I was on: #DiscordDown.”
Another posted, “I was talking to myself for 1 minute before the discord exploded. #Discorddown.”
One added: “You are very funny when I see #discorddown trends and then switch to my discord window and see that it doesn’t load.”
And another wrote: “Everyone running to Twitter to see if #discorddown is for someone else.”
