The sudden disappearance of actor Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone in shock. After his death, the debate on nepotism was revived and netizens called the big names Karan Johar regarding him. Sushant’s co-star Dil Bechara Sahil Vaid has also worked on 2 Dharma Productions films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Reacting to all the hatred against Karan Johar and Dharma Productions after Sushant Singh Rajput’s disappearance, Sahil spoke to a newspaper in an interview.
In a conversation with the Navbharat Times, Sahil said he feels the hatred people have but that the real villain in the matter is someone else. He claimed that the villain in Sushant’s case is hidden. Furthermore, speaking about the internal and external debate, Sahil said that he was also a stranger like Sushan and that he had to fight twice as many times as he did. He further stated that Sushant already had a name for himself in the world of television. Sahil said that in order to survive he started doubling down and was in a much worse situation, however he was able to get movies with specific production houses like Dharma and YRF.
Furthermore, when asked if he contacted Karan Johar or Shashank Khaitan amidst people’s hatred, Sahil said that even if he has sent them a message, he has received no response from him. Sahil even said that now is the perfect time to support someone and even said that he is fighting himself. Speaking about the hatred Karan Johar received, Sahil said in Hindi: “I understand the hatred that is spreading, but the villain remains hidden. I will not allow another person’s faults to be attributed to one person. I am as strange as Sushant was. No one has mistreated me. I was in a worse position than him. I started doing dubbing to feed myself. Sushant had made a name for himself on television. I am neither tall nor very handsome. But look at Sushant. However, I did get three films from Dharma and Yash Raj Films. “
One day left for the release of this beautiful film, being a small part makes me feel important. . . People come into your lives, people leave, but they leave scars, gifts, their smells, their things, their clothes, their memories, their love! Some of them you can never meet. some who you can but still don’t. Just forgive people, let them in, hate won’t bring any good. Love your friends while they are still around, because the ties we build also take something away from you when I rest. Let’s stop doing that to ourselves! Happy people from ‘Dil Bechara’! @castingchhabra @roo_cha @shahanadg @shashankkhaitan @suprotimsengupta @saswatachatterjeeofficial @ swastikamukherjee13 @ sanjanasanghi96 @ durgesh.kumar.14289210
