Horizon Zero Dawn developer Guerrilla Games is investigating why the PC version of the game crashed. The PC version launched on August 7, but it has some technical issues that have frustrated many gamers.
“I just downloaded game on PC and I’m trying to download, but after 40% game just crashes,” Redditor said happily. “Who has one solution?”
Guerrilla Games said they have seen the posts on social media and are continuing with research. They will update [us] as soon as we have more news. ”
“We appreciate those who have already taken the time to report their issues via Steam, Reddit, or through our website,” the studio said in a statement on Steam. “If you’re still experiencing crashes or bugs, please continue to use these spaces, or refer to our FAQ if you’m not sure how to proceed. Your reports are and are already incredibly helpful to our teams . “
Players have started posting their own solutions on how to prevent crashes, but nothing is guaranteed to prevent them until Guerrilla Games implements a patch. On top of the crash reports, GameSpot’s Michael Higham encountered major crashes, stuttering, and various bugs such as character models showing the wrong texture.
