D’Andre Swift practices for a third day on Friday and remains on track to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, although in three weeks little remains to be seen about exactly what he has done.

Swift is officially questionable for playing against the Packers, but in practice, the interim “had another good day”. Detroit Lions coach Darrell Bewell said Friday.

“As I told you, it’s a matter of day-to-day that they have to make it, they’ve got to come today, they feel good today and then one more study,” Bevel said. “But I would say it’s trending in the right direction.”

Swift has not played since the Nov. 15 win over Washington, when he had 149 yards from Scrimmage.

He reported symptoms of a brain injury the following week, missed two games while in concussion protocol and was dealing with headaches whenever he won last week at the Chicago Bears, which the Lions called non-covid-19-. Related illness.

Bevel acknowledged that migraine headaches can be like a convulsion, and that “there’s a nice line and there are things we were looking at.

Asked if the Lions would be able to decide whether to take a second-round Swift out of Georgia internally, Bevel said, “I can’t say that.”

If Swift lives in a health-wise good space, he should play a significant role against the Packers.

Adrian Peterson has started three straight games by running back, but Swift, who was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, is the Lions’ biggest playmaker outside of backfield.

Wide receiver Kenny Golade will miss his sixth straight game on Sunday, then he sat in second practice on Friday with a hip injury in November.

Also questionable are Matthew Stafford (thumb), Dash Hand No Hand (thigh), Stin Bryant (thigh), CJ Moore (ankle) and John Penicini (shoulder). Stafford will play, while Penicini was added to the injury report on Friday.
