The best footage from the Super Nintendo World expansion at Universal Studios Japan has appeared online, revealing a detailed view of attractions like Bowser’s Castle and Yoshi.

The opening of Super Nintendo World has reportedly been indefinitely postponed due to coronavirus crisis, but it will be worth the wait.

The highly anticipated attraction based on the Super Mario video game series was originally due to open in the spring of 2020 to coincide with the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The video was shared on Twitter by user @ 29QuP2. Reveal the newly built Super Nintendo World, which includes Bowser’s Castle, Yoshi, Goombas, Koopas, and Piranha Plants.

Super Nintendo World will also feature the latest Super Mario Kart and Yoshi’s Adventure games, shops and a restaurant, and Peach Castle.

The footage, which you can see above, is by far the most detailed look to date in the theme park expansion, revealing the real-life environments inspired by Super Mario.

Last month, images and videos confirmed that work progressed in Super Nintendo World. Before that, a aerial image of the expansion under construction appeared on Instagram.

USJ previously released the colorful wearable wristbands, called Ignition Bands, which will be featured on Super Nintendo World.

Power Up Bands will allow visitors to enjoy interactive experiences, including collecting digital coins and competing with other visitors.

Additional interactive features in Super Nintendo World include Question Blocks, which Power Up Band users can physically tap to collect coins.

Universal Studios Japan will be the first Universal theme park to present Super Nintendo World, followed by expansions in Hollywood, Orlando, and Singapore.

It was previously confirmed that Universal Orlando Resort’s Epic universe be host a Super Nintendo World when opens in 2023.
