An encounter with the political convoy in the Phoenix area began to sparkle on social media as the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver headed for Dendre Hopkins Stadium for Sunday night’s game against the Cereal Seahawks.

Photos of Hopkins driving his Ferrari were posted on Twitter that Hopkins caused traffic side effects between a convoy expressing support for President Trump. The photo also includes a photo of Hopkins driving with the group and two raised middle fingers in the air after passing the caravan.

Hopkins sided with teammate Patrick Peterson and former NFL Cornbacker Bryant McFadden during the Thull Things covered podcast interview.

Driving on the highway I guess I came across a train or a crowd of cars that didn’t have to be between my cars. And they were respecting the horn on me and so much stuff I think they tell me to get out of their way, and I don’t. The guy in front of me stepped on his break and tried to stop death in traffic, and I went around him and I birdied him. I was really going to mark it as a peace sign, but this finger was painful from here on out, so it couldn’t be done in time.

“But I was like, ‘Fog, dude, you’re trying to stop a break in dead traffic, because I’m in your boys’ train and what’s not, just trying to get to work?’ So, yes, it was nothing. There was no car or anything thrown. There was no speed. Naturally, you would see me there. If I had gone faster in a Ferrari, I don’t think you would have taken a still photo of me. But yes, that’s all. “
