Demi Moore mourns her friend.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to express her grief over the loss of Kelly Preston, who died over the weekend after a private battle with breast cancer.
To commemorate her late friend, 57-year-old Moore, she shared an image of herself and Preston, along with Preston’s husband John Travolta and Moore’s ex-husband Bruce Willis.

In the photo, Willis, 65, holds a toddler as Preston playfully bites the baby’s feet. The four adults smile in the photo.
“The world has lost one of the most beautiful, kind, generous, and tender souls that has ever graced this land,” said Moore in the caption. Rest easy @therealkellypreston, we will miss you. “
In addition to Travolta, 66, Preston is survived by two children: She, 20, and Benjamin, 9. The couple also had a son, Jett, who died in 2009 at the age of 16.

The tragic news of Preston’s death was confirmed Sunday in an Instagram post by Travolta, who shared a photo of his late wife along with a love message in tribute.
“It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” revealed the “Grease” star. “She bravely fought with the love and support of many.”
He continued: “Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will take time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you have not heard from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the coming weeks and months as we heal. “

Travolta and Preston were married in 1991. The actor starred alongside Willis in “Pulp Fiction”, while Willis also lent his voice to the “Look Who Speaks” franchise, starring Travolta.
