Chloris Leachman – Incredibly talented and hilarious actress and comedian, who has acted in some of the biggest movies and TV shows ever – has died … TMZ has learned.
Leachman died of natural causes Tuesday night in Enkinitas, California, along with his daughter, Dinah, Next to him … this according to his son.
She tells us … “She started the best life you could want anyone.” He adds that she had peace, and “she left everyone with so much love.”
Chloris began her career in showbiz after appearing in the Miss America pageant in 1946, when she appeared in the TV series ‘Ors Cutters Studio’
After many years of small roles on television, Lichman appeared on The Merry Tyler Moore Show in the ’70s …
For this role she has 2 Emmy and “Phyllis.” To win the Golden Globe for Best TV Actress.
In the film, Chloris is best known for 2 movies she made during the same period – “The Last Picture Show” in 1971, for which she won Best Supporting Actress … and the 1974 Oscar for “Young Frankenstein”.
It will shine in another popular film Mel BrooksThe 1981 film, “History of the World, Part I.”
But, that’s not all – she was also for “A Brand New Life” and “Chair” in the 70s, “Woman Who Will Be a Miracle” in the 80s, and “Promised Land” in the 90s. … and more recently, “Mol Kalm in the Middle.”
With 22 Emmy Nomes, she is the most acclaimed actress in history, and her 8 wins are the longest time … Julia Lewis-Dreyfus.
His other notable roles over 7 decades include “The Twilight Zone,” “Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid,” “WUSA,” “Yesterday,” “Spanglish,” “Rising Hop,” and “Mad About You” reboots.
Chloris also voiced characters on several projects, including “The Crude’s” films and “Bob’s Burger.”
