DC Fandome Schedule: Batman, Wonder Woman movies among highlights

Speed and star power: These are the two clear goals for the DC Fandome virtual event on August 22, which published its full schedule on Friday.

More than 100 hours of content spanning the film, TV and comic book features from DC Entertainment will be unveiled at Saturday’s event over a 24-hour period, including panels featuring the filmmakers and broadcasts of “The Batman,” “Wonder Woman 1984,” “The Suicide Squad” and the Snyder Cut of “Justice League,” and the broadcasts of TV series, including “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Batwoman,” “Black Lightning” and “The Flash. “

However, most of these panels will only run for 15 to 30 minutes. The panel for the upcoming feature film version of “The Flash,” featuring filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti, star Ezra Miller, and screenwriter Christina Hodson, will clock in 10 minutes. (The brevity of that panel could also be from unlease asking about a video of Miller that appeared in March outside a woman’s Icelandic bar.)

The event will also feature a performance by Chris Daughtry of his song “Waiting for Superman,” and the premiere of the animated feature “Superman: Man of Tomorrow” starring Darren Criss, Zachary Quinto, and Alexandra Daddario.

The 24-hour online event will be built in six distinct areas: the Hall of Heroes, where all movie-based panels will appear; the WatchVerse, with four virtual theaters featuring TV panels and the Blerd & Boujee house dedicated to Black nerd culture; YouVerse, dedicated to fan art and cosplay; InsiderVerse, with behind-the-scenes content about the fate of Warner Bros. Studios; FunVerse, with access to digital comics and merchandise; and the DC Kids FanDome, a child-safe, interactive environment.
