Danny to offer ‘Blue Moon Over My Hummy’ made with Blue Bread on Halloween

The best way to celebrate Halloween is with some unnatural colored foods.

This year, Halloween will coincide with a lunar event known as a blue moon (the second full moon in the same month). To celebrate this eerie coincidence, Danny has unveiled a special meal that will scare off diners.

Oct. On the 31st, Danny will unveil a special blue-hooded version of his popular Moon Over My My Sandwich, which will be made with blue sour bread with more recognizable ingredients.

In a Twitter post, Danny details: “Blue ham? Number blue egg? Nah. Blue cheese? Boring. Blue bread for Blue Moon? Now we’re talking.”

But don’t just expect to go in Any A Blue Moon Order on Danny and My Hummy. The sandwiches will be available at Miami-Dade County’s favorite restaurants and only on Halloween.

“Only in 2020 will Blue Moon coincide with Halloween – so what better way to celebrate one of our most legendary snacks, Moon Our My Hummy, with a little makeover?” Said John Dillon, Danny’s chief brand officer. “Since Halloween looks so different this year, we also had the opportunity to make our world-famous sandwiches look different, and with this colorful upgrade we got a chance to have a little fun and show our guests that anything is possible in 2020!”

The actual blue moon, meanwhile, is the term used for the second full moon in a month. The blue moon also usually occurs only once every two or three years, hence the term “once in a blue moon.” That said, one can only assume blue bread that only happens “once in a blue moon”.
