Cyberpunk 2077 pulled from PlayStation Store, will be refunded

Cyberpunk 2077 is the most hated video game of the year, but the launch has been flooded with bugs in all versions. Unfortunately, even the last-pay versions of the game show a big drop in performance.

Now, Sony has taken what could be an unprecedented step by pulling the title from the PlayStation Store “until further notice. In addition, customers who purchase the game will also receive a refund.

“SIE [Sony Interactive Entertainment – ed] We strive to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, so we will start offering full refunds to all gamers who purchase Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store, ”the company explained on its website.

“Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store, we will begin the process of refunding you,” Sony said, adding that refunds may be completed depending on your method of payment and financial institution.

Sony’s refund policy states that refunds may not be issued for content already downloaded or streamed, “unless the content is defective.” In other words, it certainly seems that the Japanese company believes that Cyberpunk 2077 is flawed on its console. However, it makes us wonder why Sony then allowed the game for its console in the first place.
