You will need to know how to look at the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire will broadcast the latest news about the game, and you’re ready to go.
Developer CD Projekt Red plans to host a 25-minute presentation starting Thursday, June 25 at 9 a.m. PDT / noon EDT / 5 p.m. BST, and you can watch it all as soon as it starts via the Twitch insert above.
There are two things you should know about this presentation: first, it will include a new trailer, a new look at the gameplay, and an interview with the developers about the augmented reality feature “braindance” in the Cyberpunk 2077 game; and second, it will be the first episode of an ongoing series.
CD Projekt Red has said nothing about when we can expect more episodes of Night CIty Wire to air, though if we’re lucky we’ll learn more about future installments before the first episode airs.
Join us tomorrow, June 25 at 6 p.m. CEST, at https://t.co/cBU8yS6pfc for the first 25-minute episode of #NightCityWire, where we’ll show you a new trailer, introduce new game footage, and chat the developers in detail about one of the game’s features, braindance. pic.twitter.com/2RReyCMkce June 24, 2020
The initial tweet teaser includes an extremely short excerpt from a video, showing a flying vehicle hurtling toward the Night City horizon. It looks a bit like air ambulances that the Trauma team applications.
From the ridicule we have received before, as well as the context extracted from Cyberpunk board role playing games that inspired CD Projekt Red: We know that Braindance is basically an extremely powerful and futuristic version of augmented reality. Braindance allows you to reproduce memories or events using special hardware that interacts with, what else, your brain. It seems like it could significantly expand the kind of adventures you will have in Night City. Maybe you could even experience what it would be like to live as a wandering monster hunter in a gloomy fantasy world …
We don’t know what form future episodes of Night City Wire will take, but at least they give us more to look forward to after the last delay to Cyberpunk 2077.
Take an early look at the Cyberpunk 2077 map while you wait for Night City Wire to start.
