Crystal Dynamics feedback on Hawkeye hearing aids

When Hawkeye appears as a playable character in Marvel avengers From Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics, it seems like the character could wear headphones, just like he does in the comics. During yesterday’s Avengers War Table telecast, Hawkeye was revealed to be a playable character arriving in the game after launch. In addition to a preview, several pieces of concept art were revealed. An image of the character appears to show Hawkeye wearing a pair of headphones, though the image does not fully clarify this. ComicBook.com contacted Crystal Dynamics for confirmation and received the following response:

“While this is our unique version of Hawkeye by Clint Barton, his character and story arc are absolutely inspired by some of Hawkeye’s best-known moments in the comics. We look forward to providing more information on our version of Hawkeye by Clint. Barton soon. ” “

It will be interesting to see if Crystal Dynamics plans to incorporate this aspect of the Hawkeye story into the game! The character lost her hearing after an encounter with a villain during the execution of Matt Fraction and David Aja in the solo comic Hawkeye. It’s impossible to say for sure if this aspect will be included in the game, but with the DLC apparently referring to other elements of Fraction and Aja’s execution, it looks like it could be a different possibility!

Crystal Dynamics has shown a lot of interest in doing Marvel avengers An inclusive game. The title will offer multiple interfaces for low vision players as well as reassignable controls. Last but not least, the game also features a new inhuman character named Cerise, who is in a wheelchair. To make the character’s movements authentic, the team even hired accessibility specialist Cherry Thompson to provide motion capture for Cerise. Given the effort Crystal Dynamics seems to be making to make the game more representative of the real world, it seems that Clint, who is deaf, would fit in well with the game the developer is building.

Marvel avengers It will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Microsoft Windows, and Google Stadia. You can check all our previous coverage of Marvel avengers right here.
