Crusader Kings 3’s first paid DLC will arrive next week with Viking-themed Northern Lords

Crusader Kings 3: Northern Lords is a Norse-themed flavor pack that is set to release on March 16, 2021, as the game’s first paid DLC. If this is not a fully developed extension of Crusader Kings 3, Northern Lords will still give players “dozens of new stories” and opportunities to “establish foreign shores, brave harsh winters, or establish a new Viking field”.

Players will have the opportunity to discover a new field and establish power in foreign countries. In addition, Holy Norse warriors, ield-maidens and poets will be available as new character roles.

Norse culture is the centerpiece of this flavor pack, so players will immerse themselves in the world by doing everything from raising rhinestones to honoring ancestors to sacrificing your ancestors in a sacred stain ritual.

There will also be new Dynastic Legacy, cultural innovations and other events that will add depth to these new experiences.

Crusader Kings 3: Northern Lords can be purchased for 99 6.99 US dollars or as part of the game’s expansion pass which includes a new expansion and another new flavor pack.

In our review of Crusader Kings 3, we stated that he “ascended the throne as the new king of historical strategy, expanding his best parts and making his predecessor memorable and unique.”
